Parwanoo – is small hill station situated along the National Highway No. 22 (Kalka-Shimla route).

Morni hills is named after a Queen who reigned over the place. It is a beautiful hill station situated in Panchkula , Haryana. The best time to visit Morni hills is the winters which begin in October. The weather stays pleasant till April. Morni offers some interesting trekking options. Tikkar Taal Trek – an Unseen, Un-Discovered Challenging Trek between jungles and Stair Fields. This is the jungle where “Pandavas” were living during “Agyatwaas”. One of the Mythological Place – Where Bhima had a Fight with Hadimba Rakshas and married to Hidimba.

Trek to the old fort and for the more adventurous, there are treks to the bank of the river Ghaggar, which flows past Morni.

Solan

Solan is situated 50 km from Shimla. Solan is largely a forested
land surrounded by hills and mountains. It is known as the “Mushroom city of
India” because of the vast mushroom farming in the area as well as the
Directorate of Mushroom Research (DMR) situated at Chambaghat. The place is
named after the Hindu goddess Shoolini Devi. Every year in the month of June, a
fair celebrating the goddess is held, featuring a 3-day mela  (fair) at Thodo ground. Solan was the capital
of the erstwhile princely state, Baghat. Solan evolved during the British rule.
First, the cantonment area and the brewery were set up.

Though Solan is popularly renowned for its natural beauty,
wildlife and temples, this town is also known for the bulk cultivation of
tomatoes and is often referred to as the “City of Red Gold. The town is
situated between Chandigarh and Shimla , on the Kalka-Shimla National Highway.
The Kalka-Shimla narrow gauge heritage railway line, built by the British
passes through Solan and is a recognized World Heritage site. It is situated at
an average elevation of 1,600 meters (5,200 ft).
